Library Basics: Tech Loans

The Library has phone chargers available to borrow for use inside the Library for up to 3 hours.

Types of chargers available:

• Lightning (for iPhones and some iPads)
• Micro USB (for some Android devices)
• USB-C (for newer Android devices, iPads, and some laptops)
• Magsafe 2 (for some MacBooks)

Chargers are Reserve items for in-Library use only. A $6.00 per hour late fee applies if returned overdue.

Chargers can be borrowed at the Circulation Desk on the Library’s lower level or the Reference Desk on the upper level.

You can charge your devices at these Library locations:

• Outlet hubs at study tables throughout the Library

• The “Power Bar,” a counter with 18 outlets and stools on the upper level

• Charging table in the lower level's Niederhoffer Lounge, with wireless (Qi) charging, USB ports, and outlets

• Charging table upstairs near the Law section, with built-in Lightning, Micro USB, and USB-C chargers
