All Library computers connect to printers. Wireless printing is also available. 

Printer Locations:

  • In the Library: Printers are located in the Reserve Room/Computer Lab on the lower level and near the computers on the upper level. An Anytime Printing station is located at the Library's entrance. Students can use a nearby computer to retrieve a document and print it out even when the Library is closed. There is a color printer on the upper level. 

  • Outside of the Library: John Jay College provides students with several other computer labs.

How to print from your own laptop using the JayPrint website:

  1. Log into JayPrint (use same login as your email) on your laptop

  2. Select Web Print on the left

  3. Select Submit a Job, then save as a PDF

  4. Select Upload from computer and pick your documents

  5. Select Upload & Complete

JayPrint only supports black-and-white, single-sided printing.

To print, go to any print release station in the Library, log in, and send your document to the printer.

EZprint stations on campus:

  • Haaren Hall, 2nd floor lounge

  • New Building, 6th floor student lounge

  • New Building, L2 floor next to vending machines, near L2.71

  • Westport, next to room 112W

To print, you'll need:

  • JayPrint account: Students are automatically enrolled. Guests must create an account.

  • Money in your account:

    • John Jay students get $20 automatically each semester

    • To add more money to your printing account, use the machine in the Reserve Room (accepts only $1, $5, $10 bills)

Guest Printing

To print as a guest at John Jay College, follow these steps:

  1. Register a JayPrint account from any library computer. Your username will begin with “JJC” to show it’s a guest account. You will get an email with your login details.

  2. Add money at the Refill Station in the Reserve Room on the lower level. It accepts only $1, $5, and $10 bills. Unused balances in print accounts are non-refundable. Your guest account and balance will stay active for at least one year. 

  3. Print from any library computer or your own laptop. Printers are located on both floors of the library.
