We currently have several different books that deal with the subject of world war one. To search for these books go to the Onesearch catalog from the main page of the library website. Then select "Subject begins with..." from the left hand menu and enter the word world war one" in the search bar. This should take you to a page listing subjects. You should see "World War, 1914-1918 - [LC Authority Record] with the number 50 next to it. Select it and you will be taken to a results page that lists much world war one material available in the library collection. If you want to conduct a more general search, leave the settings at "All Fields" and enter "World War, 1914-1918" as your search term. If you are looking for something more specific such an an individual or event, then also in Onesearch, select "Subject begins with..." from the left hand menu and enter in the name of the event or individual you are looking for (ex. General Pershing, Russian Revolution, Battle of the Somme, etc).

The majority of journals that deal with world war one that are available from the Lloyd Sealy Library collection are mainly in Academic Search Complete, America History and Life, and JSTOR database. Try searching there either for the general subject of world war one, a specific battle you are interested in, or by the name of a statesman or general you are interested in. If you know the name of a specific journal you want to see then you can click here and search for other journals. Remember when searching to use relevant keywords such as "world war one" or "great war".
