Human Rights: Country Reports

Your guide to books, articles and other resources on human rights.

What are Country Reports?

After the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration on Human Rights (http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/)  on the heals of the atrocities of WWII, many  government and non government organizations (NGOs) began to  focus on the protection of human rights like Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.  Some of  these organizations and the US Committee on Foreign Relations began to systematically track human rights issues around the world. Below is a mapping book plus the 4 major reports published each year by Country that are available in the Lloyd Sealy library.
