  • Open pedagogy projects frequently result in the creation of open educational resources (OER). OER are free teaching and learning materials that are licensed to allow for revision and reuse. John Jay College of Criminal Justice has developed several OERs based on various disciplines; the highlight of this Open Pedagogy effort at the John Jay College is the Justice eReader, a collection of key texts on the topic of justice, broadly defined, that functions as an intellectual hub for conversations about justice among undergraduate students and their teachers at the college.
