The Library elevator is located near the northeast 59th Street and 10th Avenue corner of the Library.
Library users can access the elevator to travel between the upper and lower levels of the Library without needing permission from Library staff or Public Safety.
To gain elevator access between the Haaren Hall entrance (899 10th Avenue) and the floors within the Library, contact the Office of Accessibility Services in order to have your John Jay ID card activated for this service. If you need to use the elevator on a one-time basis, ask at the Public Safety desk at the 899 10th Avenue entrance to summon the elevator for you.
