Borrowing textbooks in the library
Books in our textbook collection are kept at the Reserve Desk on the lower floor of the library, and can be borrowed for up to 3 hours. When you go to the Reserve Desk, you will need the book's title and call number. For help on using the CUNY+ catalog to find the call number, see How to find books »
See if your textbook is available to be borrowed by searching the title in CUNY+ and be prepared to note the call number:
How do I make photocopies?
The Library has photocopiers available in the back of reserve room on the lower level and multiple locations on the second floor. Photocopying costs 13 cents per page if done with a copy card (which costs 80 cents). Copy cards can be purchased at dispensers on the upper (near the Reference Law section) and lower ( Reserve Room) levels. You need a dollar bill to purchase a card. Cards are reuseable, money can be added to them at the photocopiers or dispensers. Without a card, cost is 15 cents per page.
Is there a scanner I can use in the Library?
There is a scanner in the Reserve Room downstairs, and a scanner upstairs near the Law Reference section (south wing). Email the resulting files (if small enough), or save them to your flash drive.
