Subscribed content is available to us now, but may not be available in the future. We subscribe to, but do not own, most of our streaming videos. This includes titles on Kanopy, Swank and the AVON and Films on Demand collections. We subscribe on for 12 months, starting from the date of activation. We may have the option, budget permitting, to purchase another 12 month license. But sometimes the distributor may decide to withdraw, or may lose the rights to distribute a film.
Purchased content is available to us now, and will be available in the future (technology permitting). We own our DVD and VHS content. We own, for the life of the file, certain streaming content.
