Getting Started

Welcome!

This guide is intended to help you in the research of Latin American cultures and nations of the Americas, south of the United States, and the Caribbean, and also Latinos/as living in the United States. By its very nature, Latin American & Latina/o studies is broad and multidisciplinary covering areas such as the social sciences, language and literature, and the arts. With this in mind, it may be necessary for you to consult more than one resource or database in the research of your topic. You may also find that some of the other library guides we offer are useful in your research.
