Ebooks: Ebrary

About Ebrary (now part of Ebook Central)

Ebrary, a constantly expanding collection of thousands of ebooks in a broad variety of disciplines, is now part of Ebook Central.

Many but not all of these ebooks are available to an unlimited number of users at the same time. A few books, however, are like print books and can only be accessed by one person at a time. If a book is unavailable, you should try back in a little while.

Ebook Central Overview and Searching Tutorial

How to download a book or chapter

After signing in, you will have two options for downloading content.

Download the book to computers, tablets, and phones. Simply select your device in the first step, and you will be guided through the rest.

Download a chapter, a page, or a range of pages as a PDF that is text searchable and selectable.

If you’re using a laptop or desktop, you need to install  Adobe Digital Editions a free program that is different than Adobe Reader, on your device.

On iOS and Android devices, you will need to install Bluefire Reader, which is free from the App Store and Google Play. You need an Adobe ID to use Bluefire Reader.
